Project Profile
Pakistan ranks among the world’s largest milk producers, yet productivity per animal remains far below global benchmarks. This project addressed that gap by deploying superior genetics, modern nutritional science, and structured extension services to dairy farmers across the country.
The program focused on Nili-Ravi buffalo and Sahiwal cattle — Pakistan’s highest-yielding native breeds — to unlock their full dairy potential through improved herd management and disease prevention.
